A rented basement in Tbilisi. A founder who fell so deep in love with telling stories through sound that the craft became inseparable from who he was. Not a choice he made. A calling that found him. And when a calling finds you, stopping is not an option.
That's where uzupo comes from. Not a business plan. Not a gap in the market. An obsession that had nowhere else to go.
From that basement, we grew — and we moved. One person became two. Then three, then four, and today we're an exceptional team of almost ten sound artists, working out of a proper studio built around the stages and rooms we use every day. Our foley stages are built for acoustic precision — dead enough to catch the smallest detail, controlled enough that no sound design challenge is off the table. If it needs to be recorded clean, we have the room for it.
Short films became feature films. Local work became work heard at Annecy, Sarajevo, and Tallinn. Our main focus remains films, animations, and TV series — and alongside that, we've built sound for brands like Bank of Georgia, TBC, Chivas Regal, Tegeta, RKENA, and many more. And we know, with full clarity, that this is still the beginning.
